Urban scene XIII:corner store is filmed in fragments from 10 in the morning when the roller
shutters go up, until midnight when the shutters close down. The whole sequence is 20 minutes
long.

Urban Scenes, a series video loops, all with a fixed camera. The camera frames an everyday
situation in an urban space that in itself has the character of a movie set. Non of the action is
planned. The images are carefully manipulated. In corner store some of the original sound is
still there, and some are added later.
